Introducing William Cahill – Our New Underwriter at Sportscover Europe

Will holds a Bachelor of Business degree and has gained valuable experience across various roles in corporate insurance, including underwriting, broking, business development and account management.

Here’s a brief overview of Will’s impressive background:

• 360 Underwriting Solutions Pty Ltd: Will was Underwriting Development Manager, balancing underwriting property and casualty with business development, working with large mid-market clients.
• EML Group: As Client Services Manager, Will specialised in workers’ compensation and accident management, managing relationships between insurers and clients.
• Gallagher: Will began his career with a solid foundation in general insurance broking, including property and casualty. He later specialised in financial lines such as Professional Indemnity, Management Liability, and Directors’ and Officers’ insurance.

Why has he joined Sportscover Europe?

With a deep passion for all sports, Will saw this as the perfect opportunity to transition into the sports insurance sector. He has travelled halfway around the world from Australia to be in the heart of the insurance market in London. He is eager to expand his expertise, network and knowledge, and of course experience Lloyd’s first hand.

What is Will’s role?

Will is responsible for working closely with clients. He will be underwriting new business and renewals, forging new relationships across the UK, Ireland, and across Europe, while helping to grow our sports and events business.
