We are delighted to announce that we have entered a new 3-year partner agreement with the British Kite Sports Association (BKSA).
The timing of this partnership comes at an exciting time for the BKSA as one of their activities, Kite Surfing, makes its debut at the Paris Olympics this summer. The kitesports landscape is constantly evolving from its roots in kite powered water skiing and buggying on land, there are now many different ways to enjoy wind powered sports.
This deal adds to our existing support package for Welsh Sports Association as well as that for 17-year old Olympic qualifier Anna Hursey who will be competing in the Paris Olympics this summer.
Paddy Charlton, Head of Business Development, commented.
“We are looking forward to working with Andy Gratwick and the team at the BKSA over the next 3 years. It’s another opportunity to do what we love – support and engage with grass roots participation in high adrenaline and fun activities.”
Andy Gratwick, Managing and Operations Director, BKSA, added:
Our mission is to promote safe and sustainable kitesports participation across the UK on land and water. The partnership with Sportscover Europe will play a key role in our development by providing risk management and insurance support.
